BEN ANDREWS - Producer/Actor/Writer:

Ben's love of filmmaking began with acting and expanded to behind the scenes work. In 2008, he co-produced several short films, including Prick, Sacreligion, Nowhere Man, and the fan film series, Star Trek: Phoenix. His writing credits include several short film scripts - Level Up, In The Trunk (IFP-Seattle Spotlight finalist), and Bloodletter. He’s also completing two feature scripts: Bloodletter and Retribution. Ben makes his directorial debut this year with the short film The Sheets Must Be Silk and the Star Trek Phoenix vignette Fractured Logic. He’s also busy working with 3rd Eye Film partners producing features Bodily Functions of the Intellect, The Victim, and Bloodletter in addition to several shorts. Ben has also achieved critical acclaim as an actor, playing pivotal roles in several local short and feature films and commercials. Some of his more noteworthy roles include the short films Sacreligion, Nowhere Man (Audience Choice Award - Washougal International Film Festival), and the features Blank, Dominance, Keep Your Day Job Superstar, Son of Terror and Ordinary Angels. Ben’s theater experience brings another layer of passion and intensity to his performances. He has appeared on stage at several local theatre companies including Bellevue Civic Theatre, Renton Civic Theatre, and Valley Community Players, in Spider’s Web, Inherit the Wind and Diva Daughters Dupree.
