Bloodletter promotional photoshoot for teaser on line campaign

The short film Bloodletter won’t start production until 2009, but it is already time to start the buzz around it. The vampire thriller will have its first look and feel captured on camera on November 2, 2008. The shoot will be art directed by Rodrigo DeMedeiros, and photographed by Rhiannon Brunett, with make up by Darren Haffner. Because we are still in early stages of pre-production, the imagery is not intended to reveal much regarding the characters, particularly the vampires and the other “breed” species - which we want to keep under wraps as much as possible until after shooting the film. The teaser posters for each main character will be revealed before the Holiday Season 2008. Emmy award winner MUFX Brian Sipe is on board the project to do the creature effects.

On November 9, we will be filming the first teaser trailer for Bloodletter with the RED ONE camera, with the same amazing team from the photo shoot, but with David Barbosa as Director of Photography. Barbosa is also the creator of the original story for Bloodletter. The treatment was passed on to Ben Andrews who wrote the actual screenplay and built the incredible back story behind the film.
